Donations for USS Indianapolis

Due by March 8, 2024.

Our next community service project will be to send a care box to 70 crewman on the USS Indianapolis (which is stationed overseas). One of our own has a son on this ship. Please consider donating some of the items below.

-Individual flavored powder for drinks

-Small games (cards, dice)

-Bbq sauce, mayo, seasoning salt(in plastic bottles)

-Puzzle books (crossword,Sudoku)

-Books/magazines

-Sunscreen

-Non-scented wet wipes

-gum and candy

-individual wrapped crackers, cookies, nuts, etc

-Pringles

-pens and writing materials

-personal hygiene items

-baked goods

-jerky

We will be collecting items at the next 3 dances (ending on 3/8). Any amount of these items are great. Contact Cassandra Massie for questions.

We will have an Angel Tree set up at future dances...we ask that you consider adopting an angel and have the suggested gift items delivered to the New Braunfels Church of Christ December 18 for the wrapping party. (Address: 1665 S. Business IH 35, New Braunfels, Texas 78130 ) or you can bring them to the December 1 at Kings & Queens or December 8 dance at the Geronimo VFW (see upcoming events for more details on these dances). If you know of someone in need, please contact one of the board members with information!

The Rick Rice Band will be playing for us...it's Friday the 13th! Come join us for a fun evening...bring food to share if you'd like...we're having a potluck! Doors will open at 6. We'll also have some wonderful silent auctions for you to bid on...as always all of the money we take in goes to help those in our community that are in need! We welcome your donations to add to our silent auctions...many thanks to those of you that support us in this way!
